Howdy.
My name is Matt Swayne and I’ve signed on to help out on the Enablr project as a project manager.
I am really jazzed by this project. To me, this project establishes practical and profitable uses for leading technology like podcasting.
I’m supposed to say something about who I am and my philosophy of life. So here goes.
A native of Pennsylvania, I’m currently a content manager at Penn State. My responsibilities include tending the content management system, web writing, and editing.
But my real passion is entrepreneurship. I love coming up with ideas, inventions, and solutions. It amazes me that, at any time, we’re all just a few neuron connections away from changing the world or, at least, coming up with an airconditioned toilet seat.
Entrepreneurship is another reason why I’m attracted to Enablr and our forthcoming spin off businesses. I’m looking forward to improving my entrepreneurial chops, as well as stepping up my web and project management skills, as we work on Enablr.
Now. About me.
I live in a small farming town outside of State College, Pa. with my wife and love of my life, Janice. We live in a place that’s probably one of the few towns left around here where you have to clean up horse poop from the yard before you mow the lawn.
We don’t have children. We have two cats, which we were only marginally successful in raising without incident, so we opted to pass on kids. We did just adopt a golden retriever from a nearby rescue.
Oh. And my philosophy of life is: Work will always arrive right around four o’clock on Friday…
